Client: Toronto Community Housing Corporation
Toronto Community Housing (TCHC), North America’s largest social housing provider, appointed us to conduct a comprehensive review of all the youth programming it provides.
Public Interest created an expert team, consisting of specialists in delivering child and youth programs and services, to conduct this review. Our research included conducting interviews with clients and service providers as well as a study of related publications on existing models for the delivery of youth programs in public housing communities. The 100-page report reviewed best practices for youth program delivery, identified staffing needs, and proposed a new model for providing services to children and youth living in TCHC communities.
